nexus 8-nexus3

does anyone know if the nexus 3 and 8 share the same flange distance/diameter?looks pretty similar,but I haven't got one to measure.
want to swop over rim and hub.but I'll only do it if I don't have to buy new spokes.tight bas...d I know.

I'd be surprised if it was different enough to matter (i.e. 20mm+ different)

thanks all.Flange distance is about the same.diameter is 20mm more.
so no go:5mm diff in the spokes.

3x,I'm putting in the data from memory,so there is a slight margin for error.will check again
where can I find a cheap SA srf5?

It's for a drop bar pompino.I cut and filed a gripshift and got it onto the handlebars,but would prefer a bar end shifter.so it's the SA hubs or the shimano 7-8
the 7sp shimano is a bit smaller. than then 8.
