Is this going to be an exercise in nothing but sore hands? I've tried with soapy water and not even come close to getting the tyre on 🙁 New rims are on the way anyway so worst comes to worst I'll just put the old tyres on but I thought I'd check to see if this was a common issue first
It's a Schwalbe thing... but mostly you are just weak. And if you think you've got issues, try taking a Trailblazer 2.8 off a Scraper rim with your bare hands in the rain... are you in the Peak atm? I love a tyre challenge 😉
Nope still in Bangor! I'll be back on the 4th of June I think, then away at Trans Provence again. I reckon it's doable, just not sure it's worth it if I know they're coming off again in no more than a week.
I can't answer that one, but good luck. Nice tyre btw, fast and surprisingly grippy unless it's proper steep when it goes a bit lairy under braking.
Got a Magic Mary for the front so I'm hoping that'll give braking control a good go! Both Supergravity, no punctures for me please.
