I'm grumpy about the lack of a straight steerer, it'd be the perfect fork otherwise ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Love my pikes that much I've binned my rp23 and just fitted a 2014 monarch rc3 plus. Cannot wait to try it out!!!
The new pike is the only bike part I've ever bought I've been unable to find a bad review/blog/ report about!!!

As posted elsewhere I'm very impressed with my monarch rt, outperforms my food rp23 but the seals don't seem to like winter riding

Also only comes with a tapered steerer as far as I can see. Otherwise I would be lusting after a set.

I'd like to try a set of Pikes as every one seems to rate them. Anyone ever seen a bad review?

BTW, why don't people get as upset about no 1 1/8th option as they do about 650b? End result is the same. ๐Ÿ˜•

My dual position ones must be better than yours Robert since I pwned you down all the hills today.

(very happy with mine- first fork I've had where your hands don't hurt at the bottom of alpine descents)

Every time you say that I get just a smidge excited by the prospect of a comparison, just when are these sweeps arriving?!!

RS damping isnt better than Fox non-TALAS.

Plus youll be selling the Pikes in a month for Fox 36.

Mark, the charger damper as fitted to the new pikes is completely different to any other rs unit, and is as good if not better than the fox 36 fit units and certainly performs better than the ctd. Fit units as fitted to the 32 & 34.

Quite a few people on this thread offering opinions without telling us whether they have actually tried them. STW usual....

lol 2nd post and 15 mm bashing ๐Ÿ™‚

I've had 20mm offerings from RS that are flexier than my 15mm 34's...

@nobeer ;-), in the 26" pikes yes can cut and machine the air rod down to give. 140mm travel, did one this week bit more involved than just cutting it though.
I'm slagging anyone's choice of fork off just stateing my opinion on the relative performance ๐Ÿ˜‰

Indeed, you'll find its people that frequent Pinkbike or have never ridden a 15mm axle fork that assume they have loads of flex!

Sweeps are already here. Just put a set on my Liteville. Can't advise how good they are as I am waiting on a post mount adaptor for my brakes - no brakes no test !
