[#11207796]

After a few years without a bike I'm back again.

Long story some of you may remember but bad break up meant I suddenly became a single dad and had to sell all my bikes. Had a few spare bits stashes away for "one day I'll get another one". Bought a crap carrera hybrid for riding with the kids but that was terrible so I sold it. So I've ended up with this:

2014 (iirc) specialized epic comp carbon, was a demo bike at the shop I used to work in and I sold it to my dad mega cheap a few years back, so now I've had it off him!

The stem, bars, saddle and pedals were all out of my left overs box from previous bikes so saint pedals and a purple stem are bit mismatched with the bike. Always had more trail/enduro type bikes so something a bit different this time.

Despite my time away I still haven't figured out how to post pictures apparently...

You are by no means alone.

Thank you!

Plans are to get rid of the hope stem as purple is a bit out of place on a red/black frame (which seems to be a demo bike only colour as none of the actual for sale models of the bike were this colour scheme)

First time I've ever had a bike with this short amount of travel, so might up the reba to 120mm if I'm gonna give it a service anyway. The fox/brain shock probably needs a service too. I also have a brand new XT 11 speed mech and shifter I never used to that may get used at some point.

Thanks!

I live in Wales so plenty of great trails I'm just not allowed to travel to any yet... So just some local rides to get me back into it for now.
