Just noticed that the foam on my Bell Faction appears to be quite loose and independent from the outer hard shell. It's a few years old so a new one is required. Preferably want to retain that pi$$ pot style as have a Giro Hex for normal duties. A quick look on CRC and I quite like the look of the Fox Transition HS. Any others I should be considering?

They all meet the same safety standards!...plenty of that style around, doubt you'd go far wrong with a big brand model.

Thanks chaps. It's not the foam pads it's the foam she'll that's loose from the outer hard shell. Just wondered whether there were any models I should be considering.

Honestly without knowing the shape and size of your head hard to say.
It's one of those things that I always like to try on properly before parting with the cash. As al says they all meet a standard just then people add what they think sells.

You have 2 options:

1: go to a shop, try on helmets until you find one that fits, buy if from there.
2: buy another bell from the cheapest source, as you know it should likely fit.

Option 3 (combining options 1 and 2) results in being hung, drawn and quartered.
