So long Fox.
thats going to be hard to see in the snow!
Could be down doing Tangara on 28th too
New pikes are AWESOME! Charge damper in sids and revelations for 2014 aswell.
Might be a bit much bike for that Mike.
Looks epic!
What's the small bump sensitivity like with the solo air spring?
I'm reluctant to get rid of my dual air revs because I can set the negative spring up to give a bit more plush starting stroke.
Is that a Rev or Pike? The Stanchions look really skinny in that photo!
Let us know how it feels ๐
That is a Pike. You can just about make it out on the sticker on the inside of the leg.
Also has the "murdered out" stanchion coating. I don't think this is on the Rev yet.
I certainly don't miss the dual air in my old Pikes. These feel spot on.
If they look skinny, the Fox 32s would be anorexic.
Will have a lot of ride time by the end of the weekend.
Hi Kiwi,
I have an SB66 and am thinking about swapping the forks to Pikes.
I currently run 170mm X Fusion Vengeance HLR. They are great forks but too big and too heavy for my needs. The bike is VERY slack.
I am not sure whether to go for the 150mm or 160mm Pikes. I read that the SB66 was originally designed for 150s. I mainly ride at Swinley Forest - which is as much up and along as it is down so Im looking for versatility but I dont want to loose that epic confidence you get when you point the bike downwards and into the rough stuff. Would I loose this with 150s? How do you find the 160s and why did you choose them over the 150s?
Thanks
(bike looks great btw)
I find your choice of grips abhorrent. Everything else is fantastic
