So after seeing the Whyte 905 in my lbs a week or so ago, it has started me thinking about the need for a nice hardtail.
Luckily or unluckily for me, my lbs hasn't been open much over the past 2 weeks and was closed when i went up this afternoon to order one.
So i have been looking at the next nearest dealer and they have my size in stock, but....a few things are niggling me.
I am struggling to decide whether to go for the 905 or spend a bit more and go for the 909.
I prefer the colour of the 905 and would probably prefer the Revelation over the Fox 34 on the 909, but obviously the 909 has arguably, a "better" drivtrain and brakes etc.
I appreciate, there may be better spec'd bikes out there for similar or less money but i have always liked Whyte bikes and really quite fancy one and its the only bike that has interested me in while.
So is the 909 worth the £450 premium over the 905?
