Got my new cyclescheme commuter, family outing and softroad utility machine yesterday and today is its first proper outing.

Its lighter than the Roadrat it replaced and seems to ride over the lumpy bumpy bits better in a more composed. Which seems strange as its a aluminium frame but then its got a carbon fork..

The slack head angle is fine, its not at all like a twitchy racer and would probably feel too relaxed for anyone coming from that side, but as a mountain biker it feels fine. Similar to an old school tourer with serious fork rake.
