[#5798270]

This arrived yesterday about a month early  First ride tomorrow morning, just been round the carpark so far. Tubeless was a doddle - valves supplied with the rims. Shift's better than my Xtr equipped 5 Spot. The suspension feels Very plush.

I like that. I also like the fact that it couldn't look more French unless it had onions hanging from it!

Like that a lot. Sort of reminds me of the Martini livery on a Lancia Stratos (?) maybe. Haven't Lapierre got a Gulf stylee paint job on one of the other models too? And I've not even started on the booze yet... Anyway - looks like it'll be a nice ride. Top Christmas present 🙂

I've had my zesty AM fer about a month now (same frame for this year) and it's a beast. I put some pikes on the front, then point and shoot.

Looks nice as, will be interested in what you make of the EI as I didn't go fer it.

blood, thought about a Zesty, but heard all the negatives about Fox 34's so decided on this.Would not be able to explain to Mrs Dhd about the need for new forks straight away anyway. From what I've heard the Ei is very good, will let you know

Nice bike. Graphics aren't quite to my taste, but that's a personal thing. I'm still in the 26" 27.5" quandary before ordering new bikey.

JCL the stems 55mm which I think will be fine.Looks kinda long due to mount for the Ei controller. Will let the hive know what the suspension is like.

JCL, not cool i'm afraid.Or young 🙁 My 5 Spot has a 70mm stem so seems a good compromise. Rickos, the pedals are Straitline Amps

They feel very nice under my five tens and weigh just 276g

Nice! Currently trying to decide between this and a bronson c, reckon whichever I go for it will be both the right and wrong decision...

Tomhoward same dilemma here although I would be going Zesty AM. Bronson might suit me better because it's short top tube and head tube. I run 50mm stem on Zesty and find its ideal for me. The geometry is very similar apart from that.

Well first ride today,16 miles around Meltham and Holmfirth.Semi frozen ground so not too dirty. Absolutely blown away with it 😆 so stable and smooth. The Xx1 is so much better than the shimano on my 5 Spot. Totally the right decision to buy.The Pikes are butter smooth and The Ei sorts everything out at the back,no bob on the climbs off road or tarmac
Here's a semi dirty photo some of you wanted 😉
