There is no point! It does add weight though!!

Just commuted in on it and it still rides fantastic! Happy Times!

Because I wanted to! I don't need anymore light functional bikes as I already have them.

Don, that's certainly a bit different mate!

I’m 50/50 on the top tube configuration but I guess as is often the case some things look so much better in the flesh.

You got some classic STW posts for your trouble! I don’t believe some of the drama posters really find it melts their eyeballs quite so much? Still, you signed up for that kind of abuse the moment you hit Send Post!

Good for you choosing to be different, it would be boring as hell if we all had clones of the same one design and build. You are clearly very pleased with how it’s turned out and most importantly how it rides. Job done then I reckon.

Try to be kinder to this one though eh! :¬)

Solamanda I knew you'd hate it as its not got 9" of suspension and made by Trek LOL

Nothing to do with that. It's an expensive copy of a crap kona! It's like using a 5" all mountain bike for dh uplift and then breaking an xc wheel on a pebble, totally daft. ;o)

Fair play that is an UGLY looking bike one good thing about it no one is likely to nick it.You could always lose it in the deaths of the Forest Of Dean 🙄

Laughs @ solamanda if it was a mass produced bike with big heavy stuff bolted on it to make me/it look 'core' then you'd love it:-)

At least it won't get nicked!

Ok, lets test the IF build quality. Can I use it for jumping to test the 'quality'?

I assume this is your warranty jobbie?

amazing how a pile or orangey tubes can't provoke so much hate!

Still rides nice though just done 30 odd miles!

the head angle is what I speced because thats what I want. It's not a DH bike so I don't need it slack! You'll be telling me that the 85mm conversion I've done on the forks isn't enough travel for leaning on a tree next!

Sheldona

got raped a bit on the price

I'd like to say your choice in bikes is on a par with your choice of words.

but thats not true actually, the bike looks ok.

mr polaris, "rape" does not only mean what you think it does, depending on context.

rape: destroy and strip of its possession; "The soldiers raped the beautiful country"

Yes that is so, but using it in the form "i got raped" seems to stretch that a little.

i guess it's just me.
