Here is my new commuter. Set up to do a job...

Having spent the last 6 years doing the 20 mile round trip on a fixed, with laptop/clothes/lunch in a bag, I am looking forward to gears, mudguards, racks and brakes!

Looking forward to work now!

Yep - it looks gash .. but practical.

Stu - give it time...it's not been ridden yet.

dirk - Have never got on with drops on the commuter, I used bullhorn type bars on the fixed.

To give me some more hand positions I have got some ergons with little bar ends....

I think it depends on the commute. If its all urban stuff, weaving through slow moving rush hour traffic - flat bar all the way for the better control

if it's riding on faster open roads - then drops all the way

Indeed. No way I'd want drops on a central London commute.
