It seems I'll be allowed £300-£350 for a new workhorse. Road-type of a bike, singlespeed, brand new, suitable for a short-ar$e (5'7"). Mail order is fine. Prefer steel but it isn't a necessity. Suggestions please?

have a looksy at the cotic roadrat? youd get the frame and fork for 255 leaving you to swap bits over from "old stock" we all have lying around and another 145 for the wheelset so a bit over but tasty looking singleable steel rigid fun. for a complete bike option, hmmm sorry dont know but isnt it more fun to cobble one together?
