what do your current wheels weigh and why do you want a change?

What size tyres do you use? Wider rims will make a difference if you have wide tyres. But they will be heavier than what you currently have at that price.

I have the previous version of these - Hunt Trail Wide £299 - really good IMHO.

I second the hunts mentioned above, got some on my hardtail, no nonsense. Think youll struggle to find better at that price point.

These are decent value and well reviewed, I believe...

Otherwise the main competitor to the Hunts will be more fancy secondhand wheels, as not many people are after a pair of 650b now.

They're not boost as standard but I have a set of wolftooth boost adaptors I can sell with them.

I paid £530 for a set of XM481 on Hope from PT Cycles a few months back. Very good service, well built hassle free.

I've also got the Horizon V2's on my Mega - not had enough mileage on them to comment about longevity - but reviews would suggest they're decent.

If we’re doing not so stealthy ads for other web sites, I’ve got some wheels in the paid for ads on STW!

Although similar to what the op is currently running you can get 27.5 i35's on hope hubs for £255 with the clear2022 code for a pair at the moment on CRC....

No idea if that store is any good. Picked up a set from Chain reaction in the sale a while back. Seem perfectly good for intended use, I’ve pushed them way beyond without issue.

Had a set for 18 months now and really pleased with them. No issues, surprisingly light, still true and with 102poe very buzzy 🙂

Believe CRC are currently doing a set with inserts and sealant for just £349 delivered

PSA CRC are currently doing the above Nukeproof wheels/inserts/sealant deal for just £299.99 🙂

Bonkers when the rear wheel on it's own is £249.99!!!
