Managed to pick up a Carrera Blast on Monday via Gumtree for Little Leku. It's in good nick but I would still like to move some of my 'spare' bits across.
Current rear hub is 7 speed which limits things rather. Can anyone help me find some cheap-ish 24" disc wheels which will take a 9 / 10 speed cassette?

Or get the rear wheel rebuilt with a cheap new hub?
See if the freehubs are interchangeable first?
It maybe that the 8-9spd freehubs may fit the hub.
My daughter has the blast also and I've found the wheels to be ok albeit slightly heavy. She has never struggled with the 21 gears on offer although I have changed the shifters to sram 7 spd trigger shifters.
I was thinking of going 1 x 10. i'll have a look at the freehub.

I'm currently wining those at 99p!
They would go nice with the bright green frame.
I'm also looking for some, but as I haven't got the forks, I'm loathed to actually buy wheels first. So, I won't be bidding against you 🙂 .
This is the only other I've found at the moment. If your frame is matching green, it might look quite good with a black rim front. some times mismatch wheels look good if done properly.
