Off on hol near whitby next week, and hoping to get 2 or 3 days riding in. I've got a guide for the NY moor, the vertebrate publishing one http://www.v-outdoor.co.uk/products/mountain_biking/north_york_moors_mountain_biking_moorland_trails.php
but just wondering what the most recommended rides in the book are, or if theres any other better stuff to ride? Happy doing quite long rides with lots of hills (i ride in the lakes normally). Was looking at doing one of the killer rides in the guide...
If theres any other rides, or sites with GPX file routes i'd be happy for links 😀
Got a car so can easily travel a bit
one more thing... just got some relatively small block tyres on at the moment (fast trak pros... i find them ok for the mostly rocky stuff in the lakes!), should i swap to my winter knobblier things for NY moors?
Thanks
there is loads of endless single track in dalby forrest if thats your thing

Also you can use the Whitby to Scarborough and the Moors to Sea route (ex rail trail) to link up bridleways around the eastern moors.

Might be handy enough to save you taking the car to get to a ride.

Try this book, I know they also sell it in the visitors centre at Dalby. As for tyres i find Maxxis high rollers are ok whatever the conditions.
