Cannondale F4

Keeping it as standard except for the pedals for now but planning on swapping the good bits (read XTR, Crossmax SLRs) off my current HT.

So what colour bling for a raw aluminium frame?

Keep it black and silver, nice and simple!

Very much the opposite in terms of bling to your old HT pete. Will you cope with the lack of garish colours ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes but no but yes

The Crossmax SLRs I have are black with one red spoke surely this cries out for other red highlights?

Hmmm, red spoke you say? OK, so some very small red details are allowed, but keep it understated, mmmK?

Ive got one of those! Really, really pleased with it, only bits I replaced were the pedals (Crank brothers 50/50's). Enjoy!

Oh sorry, forgot to mention SDG Bel Air saddle and Easton bars, both dirt cheap from Merlin.

Took it for it's first proper ride yesterday.

Loving it!!

Frame and fork are stiff as yet my back did not get beaten up as I was expecting.

Seapost slips but hopefully a bit of grease will sort that. Might put a layback post in instead but I will wait until I have ridden it with the current post in the right place!

Tyres were surprisingly good.

Can't wait to get out on it again today.

Pete - I have a Thompson Masterpice Layback I am looking to replace. Check it out when you come to the BBB and I am sure we can sort something out.
