As title. Ran out off mucoff bike cleaner last week and ended up using fairy with a bucket of warm water. It's worked really well, plus my hands are now nice and soft! Ahem! Anyway, do I buy a 5 ltr bottle of mucoff or stick with the much cheaper hand softener? 🙂

Mmm, thing with detergents, they have a high alkali salt concentration (or something), so thorough rinsing is very important.
Some supermarket car shampoo would be better than detergent, but obliviously not as good as Muc-Off.

Neither, Fenwicks concrentrated and dilute it. Works out at £1 a litre.
