I have a sunstar so3 kit. Its the only add on kit that is central / bb mounted and has a proper torque sensor meaning it rides like a ebike that is purpose built and is very straightforward to fit. It is very expensive

the Bafeng is the most common BB mounted kit - its cheaper but more complex to fit needing eletrical cutouts on the brakes and gearshift as it doesn't have a torque sensor

Wheel kits are not so good for climbing as they don't use the bikes gears but are cheaper and simpler again

Sunstar is not selling this product any longer.

We regret to announce that our company has decided to discontinue the sale of “i-Bike” …

Bummer - by far the best of the add on kits but too expensive to compete with the bosch and shimano motor integrated bikes.

Hmmmmmmmmm I'd better get some spares in.
