I found the Gino something or other but that is cheaper and looks a bit wider. Thanks.

The main problem when mounting a light low down is how long the shadows will be...not good off-road, but otherwise might be OK.

Sounds like a good way to damage the skewer and fork in a crash tbh! But I like the idea- should help throw a shadow to help with depth perception. It'd be simple enough to rig one directly onto the fork leg though?
