Good condition just needs brakes and wheels
Seatpost seams stuck suit prob someone 4 foot to 5 foot 11
Ready to ride with a bit of TLC

(Sorry was looking for a cheap MTB on the tinternets and this type of junk seems to be the current state of play. Not many bargains around these days. 26ers included?)

What's your favourite BSO/knacker sales spiel?

๐Ÿ˜†

"Just needs <insert list as long as your arm of expensive stuff> to finish."

I generally don't bother with trying to buy stuff from sellers that can't spell (ie think) properly either.

๐Ÿ˜† Knackers indeed, both bikes and sellers.

Saw a bike on Gumtree with 'hydrological brakes' recently.

Listing the rrp of parts and saying that's what it cost. Like any part isn't available a load cheaper online at any time

Reminds me of trying to find a cheap ht on ebay/gumtree etc.

Although it sounded ideal, I decided against it in the end.

"never been crashed"

Apart from that one time where a bus ran over it and it set on fire and got eaten by a dinosaur.

'hydrological brakes'

Love that, aren't they the very latest innovation?

'Selling for a friend who doesn't have the internet', but does miraculously have a very expensive bike to sell and a mobile phone?

'I don't know much about bikes' yet selling a Santa Cruz or Yeti or other non high street retailer supplied bike!

what are you looking for?

Inexpensive (disposably so) medium sized MTB with triple to get me up hills whilst sorting out muscle injury. Could be a silly enterprise (and not the [s]first[/s] 20th time) but I like browsing the bargains/interesting retro stuff. Just had to talk myself out of buying a mint 1980s Raleigh Maverick ๐Ÿ˜ณ

bluearsedfly that was brilliant ๐Ÿ˜†
