I'm looking to spend a week in the alps mountain biking this year and Morillon is an obvious choice as a base because I've been skiing there a number of times and have access to a friends chalet there.
The question is, is it a good place to go mountain biking? And if so, any idea where I get information on routes? I presume the chair lifts run in summer, as far as i can tell they do. I don't mind driving a short way if there are better places nearby. Any help and advice recieved gratefully. i'm still not sure if this is a good idea or not.

He's based in Les Carroz & knows the Massif/Chamonix area really really well. We spent 4 days there the year before last & rode Flaine, Chamonix, Megeves, Sixt & then did the TdMB last summer. Pretty sure Morillon has a DH course too. I'll be out there at the end of March.
