Theres a guy riding up mont ventoux on a raleigh chopper for charity today! Not sure if he's made it to the top yet, bet the descent will be interesting.

Probably, but he'll have a smile on his face ๐Ÿ™‚ Coming next, 1st ascent of Everest carrying a grand piano.

Excellent ๐Ÿ™‚

I only rode a chopper once, back in the mid-seventies. I only managed 100 yards before falling off. I didn't bother getting back on again!

That clip is the best thing I've seen on the net for a month. Brilliant.

Edit - now I've read the write up - what an achievement. Imagine going back to your mates and saying yeah I did ventoux but got passed by some bloke on a chopper!

The last guy he overtakes in that clip does a great double take!

brilliant. wonder how the roadies felt?

i guess the SA gears on that were much better than those on my old Grifter!

one of my old school friends (our equivalent or roland browning) used to have stabilisers on his chopper, even when he was about 11.

Brilliant, what an achievement. He has a justgiving page, I don't often donate to random charity type things but this is very deserving IMO.
