Hi chaps,
Have you used electrical tape instead of the volume bands? And if so, how many wraps have you used?

Think the oil would affect the glue, but it's your shock. Sounds like a total bodge TBF. I run a DB Inline and would not use tape.

Anything will be fine really, plastic strips, tape, rubber bands, grease, whatever really, just something that stays in place/doesn't react with the anodising/grease if it gets in the main chamber.

I used grease in my rp23. 1cc was same as one band iirc
