Hi.
It is with great sadness and regret that I have to announce the demise of my favourite riding gloves. A pair of Giant own brand cheapys. Just a plain leather(ish) palm and fingertips, good offside knuckle protection and a decent, almost ergonomic snot wipe. I've had them for probably 7-8 years and apart from the hottest summer rides and the coldest winter ones they're the gloves I wear. Wore! Whaaah!
So what mid weight glove to go for? They need to be tough as old boots, not too hot but not too cold with minimal palm padding but good all round protection.........preferably available in a nice orange colour scheme (or plain black).
So what's your experience and suggestions?
I'm a big fan of Giro Blaze gloves for cooler weather. Normal leather palm with a wind proof back.
