Being a slightly cautious non-lean type of rider I find my go-to Barzo a little skittish in very dry/dusty conditions.   For those that have used a Mezcal up front, is it improvement over the Barzo in the dust or would a Peyote be better?

Running tubeless at 20psi FWIW, not interested in other tyres.

Thanks.

I actually run Barzo front, Petote rear.
I have had Mezcal on the bike previously but ended up changing the front as it tended to let go on hard cornering.

Peyote. Mezcal is a rear for me, unless it's battle on the beach or similar.

Nothing wrong with the barzo though, plenty of grip and a bit less 'race' than the peyote.

Peyotes do come up a little smaller than a barzo or Mezcal though. They grow a bit but not quite the same volume.

Cannot recommend mezcal on front. Put some mezcals on my commuter bike to use on local forest roads during lockdown where full suss is overkill. Rear is good but front has washed out a couple of times. That is dry dusty and pebbly tracks. Have stuck with it for now and just ride within capability of tyre but definitely not confidence inspiring.

Ok thanks.   For he sake of £40 it’s seems I just need to ride the Barzo within my own limits.

When I read the title I thought this was going to be an interesting topic about Mexican booze and hallucinogenic drugs. How wrong was I.
