My son has a bent the hanger on his Genesis Latitude . It's the single speed/alfine style frame, but with a unbranded gear hanger, hence me being unable to simply buy another. I've tried straightening bent hangers in the past and never got it quite right.
Can anyone suggest something to get him rolling around again? Perhaps DMR chaintugs? Ta

I don't understand this, you talk about singlespeed dropouts, which don't generally have gear hangers, and chain tugs definately don't perform that function. Have you got a picture to explain it?

Vassago used to use the same dropout and made a hanger to suit.

Vassago went pop a while back then re-emerged under new ownership. Don’t think they do the gear plug now, but you might find one (or better still the 2nd version of it).

If not, Wheels Mfg do this one.

For the occasional gear use I've adapted Cotic's Geartug:
HL

DMR would be my suggestion as well
