are they any good, specifically the 29 version..
I like them, got the 26" one. They role quick and and do grip well. I know they aren't a mud tyre but they are bad in it, especially up front. Washed out time and time again.
They do clear well though, a good summer/dry tyre.
someone said they were ideal for trail center type riding...
think i will give them a go...
I didn't find them too bad in mud a couple of inches deep, anything more and they're not great. Cracking when it's dry though.
i'll sell you one, try it yourself for £15.
Mate hired a demo bike in Afan it had one on it, would have thought they rekon it to help show off one of their bikes...
keavo, ta mate

love 'em.
I've used them back to back with single ply highrollers to compare grip levels for 4x racing. On a sandy but hardpacked surface there is alot more grip with a crossmark. Good for smooth dry terrain.
i like my 29er versions but they are no mud tyre... actually used mine on the rear for some time over this past xmas break when it was dry/icy - they are off the bike now waiting for drier times
they aren't has fast as the RR's but they appear to be a lot tougher
