Thinking of trying to upgrade the rear end on my Orange 5 06 model to Maxle.
Can it be done and does anyone know how much it may cost?
steelfan, if you look at the options page for the Five on the Orange website and select Maxle Upgrade and take a look at the pic it looks like a completely new swingarm to me.
Not sure on the cost of a completely new swingarm so you would need to contact Orange. There are other options though and there is a similar post on here regarding bolt through rear ends with Pro II hubs.
i'm running a wheel with a 10mm solid axle on mine. works a treat.
not that it wasn't stiff enough before, just had the wheel spare from my old SX.
