Does anyone know how to strip down a Mavic freehub?

Yup.
Cassette off.
Either Allen key in non drive side axle hole, or pull off non drive side axle end then Allen key in there, then Allen key in drive side axle hole and unscrew.
Then gently remove free hub, taking care not to lose pawls and pawl springs.
