Next week I'm moving to Marsden, Yorkshire. I live in Manchester at the moment and most of my riding is done in the Peaks, so I know there is loads of great riding a short drive away, but this is the first time for me that there's the opportunity for riding right from my doorstep. Can anyone recommend any routes in the area that won't require me sticking the bike in the car first?

Get in touch with Marsdenman and MintImperial, both of whom live in The Village and should be able to link you up with the local riders

This would be a worthwhile investment to get you started. First couple of routes are from Marsden IIRC.

Further to my previous post its the second book that has two marsden rides in, the south Pennines one.
