Looks like I may be heading over to Betws y Coed the weekend can anybody if there are any trail closures for any reason on the Marin Trail & Penmachno Trail

just been round the marin tonight chap can report that its in fine fettle.

surley trail closures are generaly put there for good reason ie a tree might just be felled on your head whilst riding past the forestry contractors do sometimes work weekends 😮 best not to just ignore the signs
Rode them both on Sunday.
Penmachno..... Couldn't believe how wet the trail was. Like riding through a stream for much of it. Also, and this might have been me missing a sign, we only did Loop 1. Possibly Loop 2 was closed and signs had been altered accordingly ? Not sure, but dissapointing anyway !
Marin... Conditions were so much better. Dry trails almost all the way. Had all the rain fallen on Penmachno the night before, or is the Marin better drained ?
Hadn't ridden the Marin for a few years.... had forgotten how dull most of it is, apart from the final descent anyway.
