Hi folks, can anyone point me in the direction of any easy / 6 year old friendly rides in Malvern or surrounding area please ?
I live near the Worcester Golf Club in Malvern Wells. Since lock down this has been very popular with walkers and family cyclists. My son and I use it as part of a loop over to Peachly common and back. There are bridleways that cross cross the golf club.
A lap or two of St Wulstan's nature reserve with little one's is good - may be busier than normal atm. SO 78059 41422
What stigheed says. Recommendations atm may depend which area of Malvern Hills you are located. All common-land car-parking is still closed AFAIK, including Peachfield Common. If you’re within riding of South Malvern then Hollybed Common is dry and quiet at the moment and the lambing is over. I’ve been getting my rides/exercise over that way.
St Wulstan’s is dogwalker central with gates and narrow paths
Thanks chaps, actually live just on the edge of St John's but have done the local trails to death over the last 6 weeks with him so looking at places to go when those sh*t storm is over. What sort of riding is available on the hills themselves for adults, I'm guessing nothing too extreme?
For adults it fairly varied, most of it easy enough but......v busy with walkers on weekends.
In fact this weekend it has been busier than is ideal.
The Malverns is always busy at the weekend nice the other Monday hardly a sole on there be busier Wednesday onwards now.
There are no decent tracks for adults, no, not a thing...
