New ones look just what I need, stiff, clipless, not disco slippers, not stupid heavy

Are there downsides? Not waterproof? Shocking construction quality?

I've got some.

Pretty impressed, they are actually very good.

Shame they arn't all black, as I think the grey bits will get grubby over time.
