Looking to pick up a new jacket as my Endura has bitten the dust.
Torn between the Madison Zenith Softshell and Waterproof.
Main concern is breatheability
Aparrently the waterproof one is actually more breathable than the softshell (going by online specs)
Is that likely to be the case though? Seems hard to believe.
What's peoples views? Which do I buy???
Softshell 10k waterproof 10k breathable
Hardshell 15k waterproof 15k breathable
I've got a madison softshell and don't boil to death in it, and the other week when I was out in full on down pour stayed dry, but still contemplating a full waterproof.
I've already got a Madison Roam...and its like a sweat box!
Not what you're asking but the Berghaus Vapour Storm is brilliant, best hard shell waterproof yet and really breathable thanks to the gills/ slashes.......currently £99 if you shop around.
