I saw a mention of a ride there on the 2nd. Is it a goer? I had planned to go there at some point before Im back at work anyway. It'd be good to meet up with some locals for the gen on the routes, I've only been down once before.

From yesterdays ride it sounded like there were quite a few different groups up for the ride at Mabie. I will try and bring a few more along to boost numbers.
I was thinking even if the cafe isn't open, the hotel might let us in for post-ride drinks!?

Myself, my brother and 'mabie' a couple of mates are heading out to Mabie on the 2nd too - didn't realise there was a meet up being organised. We are from the Stranraer/Drummore area. Not sure what time we will get there at the moment (probably 11ish) I'm sure I'll recognise Davy from his infamous internet videos 😉

Make sure you have plenty food and fluids, cafe is closed.
There are 2 Tesco shops en route.
1 on the 701 on the way down from Moffat, it is an Esso/Tesco Extra and will probably be open.
The other is the biggy/24hr just of the Dumfries bypass at the Glasgow Rd/A76 roundabout.
Quite a few peeps turning out for this 😯

Cheers all although I was only present for a little was a good ride, that picture captures my speed nicely 🙂
The next group ride I will do the whole thing end to end, after I left I took a little detour and took a nice natural piece to the top of the jump park and back to the car.
