Anybody know whether a m660 3x crank will take issue with me using older chainrings? m510s and m532s - it's mainly the middle ring, whether the width is the same or needs a bodge? Sorry to be old fashioned, I asked on Retrobike first.

I put 9 speed chainrings on equivalent deore chainset they were just normal chainrings with the correct BCD.

Thanks Bruce. Obviously the BCD matches but Shimano love their little tabs and different fittings.

I once had some issues, can't remember the serial numbers. I just filed the tabs til they fit.
