After 3 1/2 years and a four nights a week use in the winter my light packed up. Sent it off to Lumicycle on Tuesday, phone call on Wednesday saying the board was broken and had fried the LEDs. Had to pay for parts and postage - £30 all in and back this afternoon!
No rant, just a nice story to share for a change.

My mate is still running a Lumicycle HID with original battery pack!

Had the halogens and the HID, converted them to LED, but the batteries are over ten years old and still going.

Just about to push the button on a 2014 Explorer, so nice to hear good stories.

Just ordered a new li-ion battery. The old one still seems fine, but after four years heavy use (maybe 4 discharge/recharge cycles a week in winter, one cycle a week in summer), I want another battery to stick in the camelback.

Had halogens before LEDS, always had excellent service and given their kit serious abuse with no problems.
