[#10731890]

after some minimalist knee pads which really are invisible and need no repositioning during use.

I've used and tried in a whole variety of knee pads including fox enduro, 7ipd, endura and they all slip/roll down at the top, both the low thigh and high thigh pads do it.

Just want a little bit of padding.

Moon > Stick.

If you want some protection for your knees that's actually worth having there'll be a downside.

I guess something neoprene might stay on, but other than saving you from light gravel rash they'll just make you hotter.

Troy Lee Designs Raid knee pads... awesome and are as you describe. Fit and forget until you get home again.

Also one of the most expensive out there but you get what you pay for.

I use Bliss minimalist pads. Very good fit/invisibility.

May be rubbish in a crash, but I haven't tried that yet

Anything invisible will be worthless. Have you tried cling film?

Troy Lee Raids are mint. I was gutted when I had to buy them as they were properly expensive. But, they were all I could get in a pinch after I lost a Scott Grenade.

They're now a permanent fixture in my kit. They're slim enough to fit under my H&M slacks when I'm on the dj bike and I can pedal all day on the big bike.

Oneal Flows are pretty good. Air flows through them so it feels as though you aren’t wearing anything.

Troy Lee Speed Sleeves.

I really can't imagine how a pad could any lower profile.

Troy Lee Speed Sleeves.

+1. About as minimal as you can get with enough padding to take the edge off.

Troy Lee 5400 are pretty slim and minimal. Obviously you don't get the same level of protection as a bigger or hard-shell pad but for minor scrapes and crashes they're pretty good, and comfy enough for all-day rides.

Troy Lee speed are good and do what you ask but I found the stretchy sleeve a bit thick. Moved to Dakine Slayer and I'm really pleased with them.

I've a couple of pairs of leg warmers, they occasionally slip down. Add a pad and they're going to move from time to time, much as I'd like invisible super comfy pads, could wear them more often.
