Anyone on here use the stuff? Shoes... helmets... clothing?

If so, what's the quality like? What sort of reputation does it have, if any?

I know it's a bit like asking 'how long is a piece of string?', but I have seen a few bits that interest me, and because I have never actually known anyone who uses the stuff and have no idea as to what they are like as a company, I would like some opinions before parting with my money...

shorts and a couple of tops; no problems.
Garneau was, I think, a canadian pro-cyclist; evans are the exclusive uk stockist?

There's a world of 'stuff' out there; which garneau bits are you considering?

Suggest you check out galibier, lusso, santini, prendas, polaris - full price, outlet, clearance

Maybe that's why I haven't seen much of it here. I've been looking at road shoes, and saw a pair online that I liked, but was suspicious of the name because of its virtual invisibility here.

My daughter had mtb shoes, no problems.

I have one of their more expensive Jerseys and love it.

Their mitts are some of the warmest I've ever used - the winter boots are very light but not quite as warm as others.

Have a pair of the road shoes, sold to me on the premise that they were very slightly wider than equivalent Specialized, didn't have that weird looking Boa thing, and were also a price and colour I liked 8)

So far so good, tongue feels a little over padded, seems to be a bit more material there than I'm used to, but it's a very minor point.

Not put a huge number of miles in them yet though so can't comment much on longevity. Would probably buy a second set (white ones) for next summer unless Evans are still doing those cheap Lakes...

Their toe covers are the best I’ve tried, ripped one off in s crash last winter, planning on replacing when I need to.

I had some of the winter boots for a bit too, not that warm and stank. Not an isolated problem though, the shimano ones I had were the same

Louis Garneau kit is the kit of choice in Canada.

Well shaped and finished and built to last.

Don't hesitate.
LG was also famous for hugging the queen a while back

(PS: I also liked Sugoi stuff ).

My longest-lasting bit of kit, a gilet is by louis garneau. Good fit, durable material and a sturdy zip.

Got the bibs, nice stuff at the higher end well put together and comfy. Seem to be lasting well though I pick it up in sales these days

Have jerseys and gilets from races in Canada, and used to have one of their aero tt helmets, good quality kit, never had any issues with it and the gilet is one of my go to bits of kit

Got some mitts in the new Evens opening sale . Once washed were fine , had some sort of oily coating on them 'as new' . few hundred miles in and they show no signs of wear , with a few nice features like tabs for pulling them off without turning them inside out

Some of their stuff looks good. I bought some padded mtb shorts (baggy style) but didn't get on with them. Nothing to do with the quality - more the fit - they felt a bit overpadded and the back of them didn't come up very high.

Much happier with my endura baggies I replaced them with that fit well.

Gloves - both winter and summer versions are my first choice when rummaging around in my gloves bag.

Correction - were my first choice. I no longer ride with any regularity...

I have a gilet, worn it a lot and seems good quality. Got it for £14 in Evans sale.

Anyone own or ridden the LG mountain bikes ? The frames are quite popular here in HK and relatively cheap. Just curious ?

Have a LG course helmet for road use, most comfortable helmet I've worn.

Got 2 jerseys, 2 jackets and a Gabba equivalent.
Excellent quality kit that can nearly always be had cut price because its not a trendy brand in the UK.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
