You don't fully understand Geordie dialect yet. ๐Ÿ˜†
Haway means come, as in "haway owa ere"

I'm no Geordie - I [s]is[/s] was a smogmonster - but I still know what howay means.

Don't you think

Check out "midaircrisis" they ride every Thursday (local) and Sunday, haway (and ride with us)
would be a viable thing to say ?

Both on Facebook.

I'm in the northeast and all my old riding mates are retired. Maybe I should turn up at Chopwell or Beamish and tag along. I'm afraid I'll get my legs blown off on a long ride though.

We tend to do 7-12 miles on a Thursday night at Chopwell. Up and down a lot, as it's only a small woods and we fall off a lot. I believe the Wed OddSox ride is longer and fast-paced.

Bring lights and you are more than welcome. 1930 meet for 1945 start, park at the entrance as the doggers and twoc'ers are more active as the nights draw in .

Thanks for the tip. I'm a bit paranoid about parking after last weeks Hamsterley incident. Where's the best place to put the van?

I used to ride with the Chopwell Tumblers....Be careful they will make you laugh and fall off and hurt yourself, then drink beer. You have been warned !!!!
