Sorry for another conditions thread but a group of us are heading up to North Wales for the weekend from Kent and I fancy doing the Llyn Cowlyd loop. What currently are the conditions like? Any really boggy bits etc.

You can avoid most of the bog north of Ogwen A5 by climbing straight up above the A5 until you meet the old mining leets that contour around the hill side and lead straight to the col where you start the descent to the lake. Plenty of gates to negotiate, but better than the tramp across the hill side.
And you get to marvel at water flowing up hill....
