I've been riding Lumi's for a while but thinking of investing in some new lights.

I need a decent headlamp and a nice flood mounted on the bars, for fast offroad and some 24hr racing.

What do teh STW massive recommend?

Quite a few on the Newforce thursday nighters use Ayups. Small, light, bright, good run times and wont break the bank. Also excellent warranty, customer service and spares.

'Spect one of them will let you have a play with theirs if you ask nicely ;o)

How much money have you got to spend The team I supported at strathpuffer had a variety of Nightrider lights on loan from 2 pure and I was very impressed with them I haven't seen all lights but they are the best I have seen. At a cost tho.

P7 torches are seriously bright - and at the price they are an utter bargain.

for 24hr racing the exposure range would be best suited.

Got myself one these Brackets and one of these Torches. Picked up a charger and a couple of batteries from ebay, all for under £30.

The torch is surprisingly small, so much so I thought they'd sent the wrong one when I saw the packet it came in.

Makes a great helmet light, and hardly noticeable when riding. I'm thinking about getting another set so I can put both on the helmet.

My friend got a set of Ayup's and they are great lights. The set is awesome with all the fittings and the extended battery life, but I can't afford that sort of money for the amount of night riding I do.

If you feel like heating up your soldering iron, check out some of the extreme lights on Candlepower Forum.
