Just got a used Lifeline TT 02 on-wheel fluid turbo trainer, my first one ever, + a robert axle trainer thru axle as the lifeline ones are sold out.
It works but feels very rough / gritty when pedaling in heavier gears - is this just the way they are or could something be wrong? The wheel/tire is round, i tried playing around with tension and it doesn't make much difference.
Also tried going all out and did 1450W at 138 rpm (53x11) seated, so it's possible to sprint with but you need crazy gearing or cadence to get into >1500 w territory and it doesn't feel that efficient due to how unsmooth it is.
