Not sure on weight - probably about 22lb. I could lighten it up with some 3ti eggbeaters.

This , but it's now got different wheels (King on X317) and different brakes (mono min pro). With this build it's about 28lb so I've probably taken about 1/2lb off to tell the truth I don't worry to much about the bikes weight when my own should be a bigger concern.

Are the two of us starting a Fen bike fashion - riding around flat muddy trails on ludicrously overbuilt HTs?

Orange Evo8, weighed in at 22.5lb in the summer. New wheelset and drivetrain to be fitted in the next week - should shave off some more.

I am beginning to think my frame is made of lead!! It has its old wheels back on so weighs in about 26.2lbs with pedals. With the hope hoops its presumably bang on 25lbs maybe high 24's. Going by the weight of some of the bikes here i would expect mine to be easily in the 23's!!

Not really for racing, but certainly more fun to ride than the BMC it replaced.

My old BMC, that was pretty light but too harsh to be much fun for more than an hour. Pictured with Dr.P's ss DMR

A bit mainstream around here, I imagine, but I like it and am always happy to show it off.

I only own xc hardtails. Here's one of them, (the most EX-Cee):

weight er about ;ight-ish.... never been on a set of scales. it's light. If i have a crap before a ride it's a few pounds lighter....
