Anyone got stuck into this in previous years?
Website makes a big deal about prior race experience but not sure how I get that without doing any racing, if that makes sense?
interested in any views about how much post-acceditation experience is needed for the C group.
I've done it since in started in the A cats. The Cs never look particularly experienced.
I think what they are after is some (track) racing experience. Indoor accreditation plus some outdoor track racing experience or lots of road/crit experience is normally enough.
Accreditation and some circuit racing to help. I know and race with the organiser often, Just be comfortable racing in a bunch. Try a couple of their Friday evening circuit races at the same location.
Ok cool, I’ve been racing Thruxton all year so sounds like I’ll be ok. Done lots of post accreditation sessions on track too, with mock scratch races thrown in
