Hi all. Not been to Lee Quarry for a few years, certainly not since the local authority pulled the plug and there was that massive landslide on the lower part!
Whats it like there now? Heard rumours of local trail building groups improving bits etc? In reality, is it basically the same as it always was? Just wondering whether to go and have a play on Sunday morning...
Same as the last time I headed up a few months back. There is a route through past the landslide now.
There is a Facebook group who do some trail development (mainly maintenance I understand) there and organise rides and stuff.
Pretty much as it was before. Landslide had minimal effect on the end of the red loop. Sorted now.
FB group has been set up by some locals whose names escape me just now, who actively maintain the trails. It's also hosting round 2 of the PMBA enduro in June.
