Sounds like one hell of night in!!!!
Only up to a point as when there is a hole tubes stretch which in turn makes the whole bigger and you lose air faster.
It's always worked for me, used Stans milk in Continental skinny supersonic tubes for over 2 years and yes i have had the odd puncture, but the latex has sealed and got to work on time.
Who want's to fix punctures at 6am in the dark ๐
gonna give it a go then.
we will see.
Don't people add glitter?
Wouldn't it be better to use chunky DH tubes, tyre liners and Kevlar tyres for the full belt n braces approach?
If you get schwalbe tubes even the prestas have removable cores.
that way you get lighter tubes, though woods valves have a certain nicheness.Regina valves are nice too.
Yes - use it in tubulars and it works well. On the occasional bike with tubes I've even used it retrospectively to fix punctures and that is generally successful so long as the hole's not too big. If you have sealant without bits in it (caffelatex for instance) you can just use the syringe to push it in past a normal presta valve without needing to remove the core.
Works for me, I use Conti tubes which have a removable valve core, and some Stan's sealant in the tubes. I reckon the number of punctures i've had since has descreased, and you can always fit a new tube out on a ride.
I've done it and yes, it seal punctures fine. It doesn't however do anything for pinch flats.
