My wife wants to try SPDs so I'm going to buy her some shoes, as a hopefully nice surprise, but I'm not sure what to do about the sizing (she's got narrow feet so width won't be an issue).
I know they can be a right pain to size, for example I have size 11 feet but I wear Shimano M088 wide size47 and they are still a bit blummin' tight after an hour or two.
Are there any womens SPD shoe brands that are true to size? Or any rules to follow for womens shoes?
thanks
Specialized are pretty good for sizing but its also about shape as well. Buy her some and swap them if they're the wrong size. Obviously dont fit cleats until sure of size.
I'm a small 5 and sometimes a 4.5. In Spesh shoes I'm a 6. In mavics I'm a 5 2/3rds (totally weird indeed). I have some bonty road shoes .... Had to get a 6 in them too. Even my five tens are a 6, yet flat five tens are a 5!
My advice, buy one size up. They are never true to size!
Thanks
