Just picked up a new Orange P7 that came with a Kore Stealth dropper post.
All worked ok during a 30 minute first ride but I’ve just been out today and the post now won’t drop. I can only get it to drop if I push down on the seat with all my strength, my body weight alone doesn’t budge it.
I checked that the QR wasn’t too tight but aren’t sure where to start looking from there. I can find very little info about the post itself online, the Kore website doesn’t even list a dropper. Is it a rebadged something else? Anyone have one and experienced similar?
The lever might now be pulling enough cable to fully release it by the sounds of it. On the bar lever is there one of those adjuster knobs round where the cable goes in - if so unscrew that out a bit then try again.
Another possibility is that you've unhitched the cable from the post if you've been less than careful moving the post in the frame. Outside of these scenarios, contact the retailer as it'll be covered by warranty.
I've had that with my Kore dropper. What coatesy said, cable had unhitched from bottom of the post.
Thanks for the replies. I’ve had the post out and the cable looks connected ok still, when activating the trigger I can see the widgety bit pivot and pull with then post.
I’ve tried adjusting the cable tension but still no joy. Looks like I’ll head back to the retailer.
