A vague post I know but its decribed as Silvery gold with Yellow judy forks would it be 1996 ?

Nah, there are 3 bike years to every human year famer giles.

I though the hahanna was the bottom of the range, so unlikely to have come with Judys

I don't know which year had that colour but I would be surprised if the Judy forks were original fitment. The Hahanna is at the low end of the Kona range and was often fitted with either rigid forks or low end suspension forks.

my missus has a gold Hahanna, we (the local chin rubbers) reckoned 98.

I always thought I had a 94 Cinder Cone but looking at those catalogues its a 92... seriously retro
